The Impact of AIESEC Future Leaders

WHAT THEY SAID

Being an AIESEC Future Leaders organizing committee member, the best feeling was when I could see the smiles on the participant’s face. The fact that they turned on their cameras and actually participated with enthusiasm was really the cherry on top as an OC.

Regardless, challenges still exist, and to me, it was probably during the brainstorming process of the program. Proper planning is crucial for the continuity of the program. We had tocreate so many detailed things and prepare a backup plan in case things didn’t go as planned.

In the end, it felt like an achievement to me when I could make someone feel comfortable in a whole new environment. Lucky me.

Finding out that people wanted to improve themselves by wanting to become a leader and being able to coach and mentor them is my source of happiness throughout the event. Still, a difficult task being an AIESEC Future Leaders coach is finding the perfect schedule to accommodate all of the participants.

After being a coach, I was able to manage my members and pay close attention to their growth for three months. I also found unique and creative ways to communicate the materials given by the speakers to my members and making sure that they understand the material well!
