BSSC Company Visit 2026, with “Echoes of Otsuka: Driven by Innovation” as the theme, was one of the work programs that were carried out during the BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC) 16th Presidency. The event was created to give BINUS Square boarders the opportunity to experience and receive understanding of a workplace in a professional industrial setting. Through this activity, the participants are expected to gain knowledge regarding the processes of how a company operates, its work culture, and the work system that is applied in a professional environment. PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka was chosen as the location of visitation because it is one of many companies that work in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. This company is known for its innovation and product development, as well as it’s technology application within the company processes and operations. To the participants, the company have these purposes of joining:
- Provide boarders with firsthand experience and insight to the business processes within the FMCG industry, specifically at PT Amerta Indah Otsuka
- Builds connections and relationships between students and Otsuka
- Deepen the understanding of development, marketing, and product branding strategies tailored to characteristic of different market segments

- Digital & Technology Fluency
Company Visit ke Fast Moving Consumer Goods help the boarders understand how technological usage are applied in real-time such as, within the digital marketing department, or the supply chain system during production.
- Collaboration
Participants learn the importance of teamwork between different division within a FMCG company. Through this collaboration, The participants also learn how to communicate effectively, dividing work clearly and transparently, as well as solving problems together as the key in accomplishing the company’s target.

BSSC Company Visit 2026, with “Echoes of Otsuka: Driven by Innovation” as the theme. Our goal was to focus on Binusian boarders. on the day of the visit, 25 boarders gathered in the BINUS Square lounge area. The boarders who had arrived earlier were told to first find a seat and get to know one another while waiting for the others to gather.

The event started with registration and entry ticket fulfillment, while waiting for the other participants who has yet to arrive. Once everyone had settled, the opening ceremony was hosted by the moderator, Helen. After a short prayer, several important figures delivered welcoming speeches, such as Syafadilla Anggraini as the Project Manager of BSSC Company Visit 2026, Muhammad Raziva Ramza Aziz as the Student Organizer Advisor of BSSC, and General Manager BINUS Square Ms.Yuliana, S.S.T.Par., M.M., CHE. Though Ms. Yuliana had prior engagements and was unable to attend and give the welcoming speech.

Following the welcoming speech from the Project Manager of BSSC Company Visit 2026, and Student Organizer Advisor of BSSC, the Mobilization from Lounge into shuttle bus, participants boarded the designated buses in a single-file, disciplined sequence. Mobilization staff managed queue flow at the entrance to prevent overcrowding and verified attendee counts against the master manifest prior to departure.

After arriving at the company location, everyone arrived using separate vehicles. The participants were then guided to the lobby of the company, where they were ushered into an elevator to head to the conference room on the third floor, where presentation materials regarding the company were being held.

During the core company visit agenda, representatives from PT Amerta Indah Otsuka delivered an informational company presentation regarding their company branding, atypes of products sold and a brief explanation about their production line, which then is followed by an interactive Question and Answer (Q&A) session for Company Visit participants.

After completion of the presentation and Q&A session, all of the company visit participants headed into the facility tour by PT Amerta Indah Otsuka staff to observe the company’s automated manufacturing and bottling processes, followed by BSSC staff

Afterward, Company Visit 2026 participant was obstructed into group photo and video, followed by PT Amerta Indah Otsuka staff with the BSSC tagline and Otsuka Tagline.

Next, participants were guided to the PT Amerta Indah Otsuka merchandise shop, where host staff distributed official souvenir packages and gift bags to all attendees.

After receiving the goodie bags, the project manager of BSSC Company Visit 2026 handed over a token of appreciation to the representative of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka in the form of official merchandise from BINUS Square. This resulted in a documentation segment.

Following completion of the merchandise shop, all activities were concluded and the last step is returning to BINUS Square. The participants were asked to form a line and was then led to the prepared vehicles.

After mobilization of the participants onto the vehicles, the journey back to BINUS Square Residence only set off after the day had turned dark. After returning to BINUS Square, the participants were recounted and asked to fill in the exit ticket before returning to their respective activities.
