BSSC Company Visit GOJEK

Company Visit to GO-JEK was held by BSSC Public Relation Division with purpose to know the factors of GO-JEK’s successfulness, to learn their marketing techniques, and to get information about ways to have a good relationship with other parties. However, the most important purpose is to create a good relationship between BSSC and external party, including GO-JEK itself, so that BSSC can have future opportunities to work with GO-JEK. By organizing this event, we can also help BSSC members to gain more insights about one of four “unicorn” corporates in Indonesia. With this chance, they can have a big advantage if they want to pursue their career in GO-JEK because they can also ask things that they were curious about right away. The work culture of GO-JEK is very unique. They have their own rules and regulations that a normal office does not have and it made the participants so excited and eager to be a part of the company. Other than that, they also got to know other BSSC members that they did not know yet before.

In this Company Visit, there were two main activities, which were office touring and attending talkshow about internal communication. Nevertheless, we got a snack session before an unexpected event that was sponsored by GO-JEK. The office tour started with dividing the participants into 2 groups and each group was led by two different people. They have four floors in their office in Pasaraya Mall, but we could explore just two out of four floors. Then, it came to a presentation and the speaker was Kak Wilma, the Head of Public Culture Division in GO-JEK. She started the presentation with a simple yet a very eye-catching video from GO-JEK team and then continued with several slides. Even though the presentation was only 20 minutes, but the information she gave about internal communications was delivered very well. The participants were also very excited in the QnA session that they asked more and more questions actively. This event was both useful and memorable, because it was not easy to have this event that they called GO-VISIT in GO-JEK. Also, it was very fun. There were a lot of other great experiences that cannot be explained by words, and most importantly all of these could be achieved by the help of GO-TROOPS, a nickname of the GO-JEK team, for their effort and kindness.
