BSSC Squarelympic 2021
The e-sports industry is well-known among the general public, particularly among individuals who like playing online games. As we all know, the e-sports sector has advanced significantly in recent years. The various e-sports matches conducted by the organization and contested in the 2018 Asian Games attest to this. Currently, e-sports is not only played as a hobby but also as a profession, such as pro players who have participated in various competitions in this field.
BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC) hold an e-sports competition, namely BSSC Squarelympic 2021, to commemorate the occasion. The theme for BSSC Squarelympic 2021 is “Run and Be Mystical” and it will be held from September 18th to September 27th, 2021. The goal of this event is to increase the participant’s competitiveness and cooperation. BSSC also aspires to be a forum for participants to express their passions and talents, particularly in the field of e-sports.
Four games will be contested, such as Valorant, Mobile Legends, DOTA 2, and PUBG Mobile. Registration for BSSC Squarelympic 2021 starts on September 1st – 15th, 2021 with registration fees divided into two waves. There is an early bird fee which is limited to the first 35 registrant teams valid from September 1st – 7th, 2021, with a registration fee of Rp95,000/team and normal fees that apply from September 8th – 15th, 2021 for Rp105,000/team. In addition, BSSC also offers a Rp15,000 discount for participants who post a twibbon from BSSC Squarelympic 2021. Isn’t it interesting? So what are you waiting for? However, what is not less interesting than the e-sports competition at this event is the Game Talk. Game Talk is a talk show session with the theme “Role of Caster in Competition,” which discusses the role of a shoutcaster in an e-sports competition. This Game Talk will be attended by a cool guest star, namely Kornet. Who is not familiar with Kornet? Yes, Kornet, originally named Muhammad Fahmi Maulana, is one of the casters in several Mobile Legends events such as MPL or Mobile Legends Premier League. His presence as a caster in an MPL will certainly make the match more exciting and fun.
Another interesting thing about the BSSC Squarelympic 2021 is the Final match. The Final match will be broadcasted live through the official BSSC YouTube channel so that it can be watched and enjoyed together by a wide audience.
