SHINE – Simple Kindness

SHINE (Share Happiness, Inspiration, and Education) is one of the few community service events that’s held by BSSC. This year, SHINE chooses the theme “Simple Kindness” with Sherly Elvina as the Project Manager. SHINE was held for 5 meetings and the theme “Simple Kindness” refers to the small activities to increase the participant’s love and care for the children that are less fortunate. We hope that the participant’s social and communication skills will also be formed through this event.

We aspire to become the bridge for the participant to share their insight with those children through various activities. Therefore, in order to achieve our goals, we choose Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 4 as the place to carry out our activities. In this orphanage, we held seminars, English lesson, workshop, and performances together with the children.

Our expectations are that both the participants and children may get mutual benefits through the 5 meetings of the event and all of the insight, lesson, inspiration, and the happiness, will be delivered well to both of the parties.
