BSSC Organizational Training Program 2025 “Mindset for Impact: Striving Together Towards Growth”

The Organizational Training Program, also known as OTP’25, is a training initiated by the Human Resource Development under the Internal Affairs Division of BSSC 15th Presidency. As the third training program managed by this division, OTP’25 was conducted on June 1, 2025, carrying the theme “Mindset for Impact: Striving Together Towards Growth”. This training focuses on deepening participant’s understanding of key organizational values and the importance of collaboration, skills essential for both BSSC duties and wider organizational environments. This event serves as a strategic step to strengthen BSSC’s core values: Togetherness, Respect, Socially Aware, and Globally Competent, through relevant materials and case studies.

The session also offered practical ideas on how to implement the discussed concepts into tangible actions within a team setting.

The second session focused on the topic “Accountability and Growth Mindset in Organizational Work,” delivered by Teddy Anantama Wijaya as the second trainer. This session emphasized the importance of fostering a growth mindset, maintaining discipline and consistency, and building a solid sense of accountability in one’s role. Participants were encouraged to understand that performance is not solely about achieving perfection, but also about being proactive and reliable in making meaningful contributions to the team. The session aimed to instill a mindset where ownership and continuous improvement are at the heart of organizational effectiveness.

Following the material sessions, participants were divided into small groups, each consisting of five members. Every group was directed to collaborate on a Google Form featuring essay-style case study inquiries regarding typical issues in organizations. By engaging in group discussions, participants were prompted to recognize problems and suggest solutions derived from their individual viewpoints and experiences. Every group’s responses were evaluated by the judges, Kent Alber Fredson and Teddy Anantama Wijaya, and the group that presented the best solution was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in acknowledgment of their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. This activity not only helped improve their analytical and teamwork abilities, but also raised awareness of the importance of reflective and collaborative mindsets in facing organizational challenges.

Once all participants finished the case study essay session and group discussions, the Organizational Training Program 2025 formally finished with a group photo shoot that included the trainers, participants, and the entire committee. This initiative aims to cultivate a cooperative and accountable attitude among BSSC activists, while additionally encouraging the growth of a constructive and enduring work environment within the organization. By engaging in interactive and reflective learning during the event, participants are hoped to be motivated on implementing the values they had acquired during and after the training program, both within BSSC and outside of BSSC.
