Event Review BSSC Company Visit 2024 “Enhancing Innovation in Digital Banking”

On September 20th, 2024, company visit to blu by BCA Digital was held by Binus Square Student Committee (BSSC). Through this event, BINUS Square boarders had the opportunity to visit blu by BCA Digital’s office at The City Tower, Jakarta. The event started with re-registration followed by mobilization to the location. Upon arrival, the participants were directed to the arranged room to attend the series of events prepared for the day.

The opening session began with a welcome speech from Mr. Andreanus Setiawan, Senior Assistant Vice President (SAVP) of blu by BCA Digital. He warmly welcomed the boarders and appreciated their enthusiasm for learning about the digital banking industry. Next, Safira Mariam Mutiara Sari, the Project Manager of the BSSC Company Visit, gave her speech, expressing her hope that the visit would provide valuable insights for the participants. The Chairman of BSSC, Kent Alber Fredson, also gave a speech emphasizing the importance of collaboration between education and industry.

After the welcoming remarks, participants watched a company profile video showcasing blu by BCA Digital’s history, vision, and innovations. Then, the first session began with a presentation on “Content Creator Class” led by Miss. Anastasia Magdalena Rambie. During this session, participants gained valuable insights into the creative digital industry, especially on how to build a career as a content creator in the digital era.

The first Q&A session was interactive, with participants eagerly asking questions about the world of content creation. Afterward, Mr. Andreanus Setiawan delivered the second presentation titled “Inside & Outside BCA Digital,” where he provided a deeper understanding of BCA Digital’s operations and the strategies applied to stay competitive in the digital banking industry.

When it came to lunchtime, a lunch was held, offering participants time to relax and eat the lunch provided by the committee. The event continued with an office tour, where participants were given a chance to see blu by BCA Digital’s facilities first-hand. This tour provided a real sense of the working environment at a modern and dynamic company.

Following the tour, a door prize session was held, giving some participants the chance to win exciting prizes from blu by BCA Digital. The closing ceremony was marked by the presentation of a plaque from BSSC to blu by BCA Digital as a token of appreciation for the opportunity given. After that, some documentations were taken.

The overall impression of this visit was highly positive. Participants felt that they gained new insights into the digital banking industry and the workings of blu by BCA Digital, particularly in the context of the ever-evolving digital transformation era. They were also inspired by the presentations on content creation and banking innovations. Through this first hand experience, boarders are expected to apply the knowledge gained in their campus settings and even real-world industrial situations.
