During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are required to work from home, and those who are in school are also required study from home. This has been true since WHO established COVID-19 as a worldwide pandemic. We need to love ourselves and love others by being at home, with this application it is hoped we can break the chains of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

Many people who work at home experience many problems one of which is mental health, government regulations make many of the companies order their employees to work from home, this causes many people to lose their jobs and many people are expelled from their jobs because the company fired them to avoid bankruptcy.

All things that have happened we have to accept, what we need to do is think positive and do our best. To be able to maintain mental health, what we can do is look for new activities like learning to cook and open catering for offices or residential areas and various other new things such as:

  • The first new thing that we can do in this pandemic is to practice breathing recovery, this we can do every day for 10 minutes a day to maintain cortisol health. The way to do it is quite easy, you only need to exhale longer, exhale or you can do the opposite. Recovery breathing is useful for removing excess carbon dioxide from the collagen in the body and recovery breathing is also useful for reducing panic
  • The second new thing that we can do in this pandemic is shake it off for too long sitting while working or studying. By shake it off means we move our body, the blood circulation can become smooth again.
  • Next, we can do in this pandemic download the meditation application, through meditation we are taught to think positively and healthy which can increase mucus. SIgA (secretory immunoglobulin A) in the body, which thickens the mucus that lines the nose, mouth, trachea, lungs, and intestines which makes it difficult for viruses to penetrate blood cells.
  • And in this pandemic we should keep smiling and keep in touch greeting each other and smiling in online meetings can make others motivated that they are not alone in facing this pandemic.
  • Then, in this pandemic is we have to limit the information that comes in about corona to be able to choose the right news and avoid the stress and anxiety we need to do is wait for the right news from the local government.
  • Last but not least, what we can keep doing in this pandemic is following the advice of the government and WHO to stay home and do activities at home in the New Normal era as much as possible.

Did you know that with the COVID -19 pandemic many people learn to do everything without direct contact with outsiders and everyone tries to learn to use technology to communicate with others?

To sum up, we must keep ourselves mentally protected from mental disorders and we must try to do everything such as stay touch with our family and friends, limit information about corona, keep motivated with doing meditation and other simple exercise.
