College is the last level before we enter the workforce. College is different from elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school, it’s different from both the teaching and learning atmosphere. In college the teaching is done by the lecturer and the learning atmosphere is more fun because many new things can be obtained.

Because college is the last level of course we must succeed to pass the last period before entering the workforce. Here are several tips to succeed in university life:

  1. Attend the Class

Coming to college is the most important thing because sometimes the lecturer can judge us from our presence in the class. In addition to lecturer assessors, most college also judge us from that presence. If we attend every class that has been scheduled, we will get an additional value if the test scores or the assignments scores are less than the maximum.

  1. Record What the Lecturer has Taught

We must note what has been taught by the lecturer so that during the exam we

can remember what the lecturer has taught. Some lecturers like to see the answers we write following what he explained. Of course if the answers we write are what the lecturers want we will get more grades.

  1. Schedule Everything

We must make a schedule of things to be done such as tasks to be collected immediately or obligations to be carried out as soon as possible. If all the schedules have been made it will be easier for us to arrange our time so that all the scheduled jobs can be handled or run smoothly

  1. Participate in a Study Group or Ask for Tutors’ Help

This is also an important thing in college life because when we are less focused on what has been taught by the lecturer we can create a study group or we can also ask the tutor so that we can ask things we don’t understand. In addition, we can ask questions that do not understand, we can also expand our relationships with others so that when we experience difficulties we will more easilyresolve them.

  1. Meet With Your Instructor During Office Hours

Every instructor or professor has office hours. Schools require professors to offer office hours to students to discuss courses and other problems such as requiring extra time to take tests for students with learning disabilities. There is nothing better to explain what is important to the class than your instructor. This is another way to get one-on-one attention. Seeing your professor during office hours helps you learn what is important to know in class. It can increase your value.

  1. Ask Questions

We also have to ask the lecturer about what we do not understand so that we more easily understand and enjoy in each teaching. In addition to making it easier for us to understand, we will also get the attention of the lecturers so that we will get more grades because we often ask.

  1. Doing Assignments Given by The Lecturer by The Date and Time Specified by The Lecturer

This is also a serious problem because most students sometimes forget to work on it which results in very poor grades. Therefore, if we are given the task we must finish it quickly.
