Cuba has been a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. This country which has “Havana” – as you guys heard in Camila Cabello’s biggest hit – is the capital city that spoils tourists with its culture and nature. Beautiful beaches and fun dances complements for a great time. Despite all that, Cuba is still pretty unique, here are some fun facts about Cuba:
- The only cars that Cuban citizens can own legally are cars created and bought before 1959. After that year, the Cuban government seized all Most of the pre-1959 cars in the country are from the United States.
- Before 2008, Cubans were not allowedto buy computers. Only special people are allowed to have access to internet such as journalist.
- Cuba is the one of the most “overprotective” country in the world, filtering information to its citizen heavily.
- Until now, there are no poisonous or venomous plants and animals in Cuba, due to Cuba being an unspoiled tropical terrain.
Despite of all the weird things, Cuba is still one of the most popular tourism hotspot. Old Havana is one of that which has been a well-preserved slice of Cuban history.
