BINUS Square Student Committee

BSSC WONDER 2025

BSSC WONDER (Welcoming New Boarders) is an annual welcoming event organized by BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC) to mark the beginning of the new boarders’ journey at BINUS Square. In 2025, BSSC WONDER featured the theme “Find the Miracle in You”, inspired by the warmth and enchantment of Disney’s film, Encanto. The theme was selected to convey that BINUS Square is not just a residence, but a second home for boarders to discover the best version of themselves, experience the sense of belonging as part of a new community, and foster genuine relationships between boarders. BSSC WONDER 2025 was held for two days, on the 6th to 7th of September 2025, with a total of 153 participants on day one and 137 participants on day two.

The first activity involved listening to several welcoming speeches, including from Widoshia as the Project Manager of BSSC WONDER 2025, Teddy Anantama Wijaya as the Vice Chairman of Legal and Operation of BSSC, and Muhammad Raziva Ramza Aziz as representative of SSO BINUS Square.

After the welcoming speeches, participants were introduced to the BINUS Square Ambassadors (BSA) including BSSC Senior Committee (BSSC SC), Academic Ambassador (AA), Floor Coordinator (FC), and Housing Coordinator (HC). These presentations aimed to explain the roles of BSA and encouraged new boarders to actively participate in various activities held by BSA in the future.

Next, participants were introduced to the Wonders Guide who served as volunteers for the event. Each group was accompanied by two Wonders Guide who accompanied them throughout various activities. The first group activity they did was ice breaking, where participants together with their Wonders Guide had to play a game led by two MCs. After that, each group was given a chance to create a creative tagline and presented it in front of the stage.

Before continuing to the main activity, participants were given a short break to recharge and prepare for the next adventure. The next activity was games. Each group had to visit five different chambers and played the games provided in each chamber. In every chamber, there were 2 Wonders Keeper in charge of guiding the participants in every round of games. The groups had to play against one another and strived to win as many games as possible to secure the Favorite Winner prize, awarded to the group with the highest number of wins across all games. The games consisted of Blinded Maze, Take Out the Ball, Don’t Drop the Fire, RPS Relay, and Who am I.

After the team completed each game, they were given a sentence as part of the Wonders Scroll that they had to complete along the adventure. The team with the most complete Wonders Scroll narration would win the prize for the best Wonders Scroll winner. On Day 1, Group 6 won the Favorite Winner prize and Group 5 received the Best Wonders Scroll award. On Day 2, Group 10 secured the Favorite Winner prize, while Group 3 won Best Wonders Scroll.

The next activity was Wonders Got Talent, where participants had to prepare the most creative and entertaining 2-minute performance with their teams. The performance was evaluated by three judges, Muhammad Raziva Ramza Aziz, Teddy Anantama Wijaya, and Safira Mariam Mutiara Sari. After all teams performed, the judges’ score were tallied to announce the winner of Wonders Got Talent. For day 1, the third winner of Wonders Got Talent was Group 3, following the second winner was Group 10, and the first winner was Group 1. Whereas for day 2, the third winner was Group 7, the second winner was Group 3, and the first winner was Group 1. After all winners had been announced, all participants, volunteers, and committee members had a documentation session before closing the event. The event concluded with a sense of joy, gratitude, and fulfillment, leaving all participants, volunteers, and committee members with lasting memories of an extraordinary journey.
