BSSC Earth Hour 2018

BSSC Earth Hour is one of the annual events held by BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC). BSSC Earth Hour 2018 features the theme “Our Earth, Our Future” where our goal is to raise awareness of Binus University students toward environment and giving contribution for the preservation of the earth.

This year it will be full of various Competitions, such as:

  1. Instagram Contest
  2. Parcel Composing Competition
  3. Photography Competition
  4. Poster Design Competition

There will also be Campaign Acts in several orphanages in Jakarta to promotes care for others. The Campaign will be held on 18 and 25 March 2018, where the participants will be planting organic crops and the orphanage children will do a crafting competition with recycled materials.

Moreover, this year BSSC Earth Hour will also conduct a Semi-Festival Events to celebrate Earth Hour worldwide. The events will be held at BINUS Square on 22, 23 and 24 March 2018 (Mark The Date!). In Day-1 and Day-2, there will be activities such as:

  1. Talent Show
  2. Bazaar
  3. Photography Exhibition
  4. ‘Glow in the Dark’ Exhibition
  5. Seminar by WWF
  6. Workshop

and many more…

While in the Last Day which is the Peak of BSSC Earth Hour 2018, there will be Blackout in BINUS Square from 20.00 WIB till 21.00 WIB. Blackout is done to commemorate Earth Hour worldwide and to make it more memorable and amazing there will be a special performance from the Mysterious Guest Star.
