CADRE FORMING 2017 – THE THIRD DAY

BSSC Cadre Forming is an event that we held every year to test new BSSC activists and renew the senior’s commitment. With Cadre Forming, we can know for sure whether they’re really committed to join BSSC or only for fun. We have held this event for three days, so we can evaluate them thoroughly.

The last day of BSSC Cadre Forming were when both our new activists and seniors can come together and bond. We have made games post for them to play and compete in. There were 6 games (Straw and Bottle, Atom Bomb, Rock and Ball, The Voice, Ninja Rafia, Pass me). While they played, we also evaluate them to see which candidates have the potential to improve and make BSSC 8th presidency better than the previous ones. After the tiring games, we have a disciplinary session where we upheld the rules and regulations we have set since the first day of Cadre Forming. This was done to fix their mindset on how BSSC works, and to discipline them in order for them to be ready for 8th Presidency.

Later on, we asked all candidates to open the envelope that we gave them earlier that day. Inside the envelope were small puzzle pieces that they have to solve. After being combined, those small puzzle pieces made out the lyrics of BSSC’s MARS, which we, the committees sang together with them. After that, we took a group photo and returned to BINUS Square. As the closing of Cadre Forming, we gave all the candidates a notebook as souvenir, and returned back to our respective rooms.
