One Step Closer
BSSC WONDER is one of BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC) annual event that took place in BINUS Square. This year, our theme was BSSC Wonder “New Chapter”. BSSC WONDER is a welcoming event for new boarders, as well as a requirement to get their internet access. The purposes of BSSC WONDER are showing new boarders around BINUS Square, make sure they got to know each other better, and help every one of them to find their new family here. BSSC WONDER is intended for new boarders as their first event in BINUS Square. So, welcome to BINUS Square! BSSC are committed to making this one of the best experiences in your first year of University life.
As committee member, we were very proud with the outcome of our first day. There were no miscommunications or problems with teamwork and functioning. BSSC WONDER 2017 was held on the 2nd. 3rd, and 10th of September 2017 as the main event with Hello University Life on the 24th September 2017 as the closing of the event. First batch consisted of 12 groups of new boarders. There were 16-18 people and 2 team leaders in one group. Our event consists of an opening event, Floor Coordinator and BSSC Session, games, and performance from each team. Event opening consist ice breaking games, performance from our singer Evan Matthew and introducing about BINUS Square and our event as well. After Event opening all boarders from group 1 until 6 were directed to BSSC Session first and group 7 until 12 to FC Session, then in 30 minutes we switch them so this two groups can attend both of our session. After it all done, we moved to Exhibition Area and have a break before the games. Our games include 5 posts and 1 from Floor Coordinator. Each post has its own meaning which had the same value as BSSC logo puzzle. The winning team will get 1 point of score that written on scoreboard in Exhibition Area. Then our committee will sum the result of their points and decide who’s the winner of BSSC Wonder 2017 games. Before performance from each group, we had a break for almost 2 hours to them for preparation and practicing before showing in front of all participants BSSC WONDER 2017.
As our closing, every 2 of groups which already being put together showed their performance according to their theme that already be chosen by picking the random number. It was so much fun to see the creativity and effort of each team to make a good performance. After a long day we already passed together, now it’s the end of our first batch and it’s time to announce the winner of the games and performance. All 2 winners each got coupon from our sponsor. But we are not done yet, and we are waiting for another unforgettable memory from all of you in Hello University Life on 24th of September 2017 as our closing event. See you there!
