Be a Minimalist Person

IN PICTURES: SIMPLICITY = LUXURY (BASED ON MINIMALISM IN JAPAN)

AMONG THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MINIMALIST LIFESTYLE, FUMIO SASAKI IS ONE OF MANY PEOPLE LIVING A MINIMALIST LIFESTYLE IN JAPAN

NOW, SASAKI LIVES IN A 20-SQUARE-METRE FLAT. HE CAREFULLY SELECTS THE THINGS HE HAS IN HIS HOME.

SASAKI SAID, “THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT IT’S EASIER TO GO OUT WHEN YOU LIVE IN SUCH A SIMPLE ROOM”. AS YOU ORGANIZE YOUR THINGS, YOU UNDERSTAND YOURSELF BETTER, YOUR CORE VALUE AND WHATS TRULY IMPORTANT TO YOU. THAT’S THE ESSENCE OF MINIMALISM-

LET’S IMAGINE TOGETHER, IF WE COULD FOLLOW A MINIMALIST LIFESTYLE IN JAPAN, WE COULD BE PERSONS WHO DID NOT DEPEND ON MONEY. WE COULD SPEND MORE TIME TO GET A BETTER VALUE, SUCH AS DISCUSSING IMPORTANT ISSUES WITH OTHER PEOPLE.

NOT ONLY BECAUSE WE WANT TO BUY SOMETHING THAT WE WANT TO, BUT ALSO BUYING SOMETHING WHICH WE TRULY NEED. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME BEING A DEADWEIGHT TO OTHER PEOPLE. DON’T BE A SLAVE TO MONEY. LET’S BE CLEVERER IN USING MONEY AND TIME.

AT LAST, LESS IS MORE. LUXURY IS NOT MEASURED FROM HOW MANY BRANDED STUFFS THAT WE HAVE. IF WE WANT TO BE RESPECTED BY OTHERS, BE A FIGURE OF SIMPLE, NOT A PERSON WHO ALWAYS SHOWS OFF YOUR LUXURY THROUGH BRANDED STUFF.
