Stop Illegal Drugs by Knowing the Why
Drugs are known to be a useful product that contains many benefits to us, from curing diseases to strengthen our body. However, there are 2 types of drugs, the good one and the bad one or are known as illegal drugs. Illegal drugs are notorious to cause dependency due to its substances like alcohol, heroin, tobacco etc. that held the nature of addict.Nevertheless, though illegal drug is labeled as dangerous object, there are still people consuming these kinds of drugs. Turns out, that there are some factors that push people to use illegal drugs. Those factors are:
- To show off – Some people are wanted to show off themselves by consuming illegal drugs, just to look cool. It’s not.
- Solidarity as member of a group – Some group with high solidarity are very loyal with own group member. So, if part of group consuming illegal drugs, there is high possibility that the others are also consuming by their own or forced to.
- To remove pain – There is people who don’t want to feel pain when they are sick even though we know that is nearly impossible. Therefore, to remove the pain they took the shortcut by consuming the illegal drugs.
- Curiosity – People with high curiosity always want to try something new. But, by consuming illegal drugs because of curiosity, there is a high chance that they will get addicted to it.
- Go with the flow – People that have been addicted by illegal drugs will try to affect others too to let others feel their pleasure or pain they experienced. So sometimes, people will distribute the drugs free and charge them when they already get addicted.
- To forget the problem or stress – People that got many problems often get down easily. So, to cheer themselves, they consume illegal drugs.
- Satisfying one own self – People that often get bored will find something that help them to feel not bored. Therefore, there are some people find drugs to help them not getting bored anymore.
- Find a hard challenge – There are some people that likes to take high risk challenge. That is why they often find illegal drugs.
- Feeling as a grown-up – There are some teenager want to be looked up as grown-ups.By consuming illegal drugs, they think that they will be acknowledged as adults.
Even though some factors are reasonable, still there are so many side effect that will ruin an addict’s lifestyle. There are 3 types of side effects. There are side effects towards physic, psychology, and social. Here are those side effects:
- Side effect toward physic.
- Interferences at nerves system. (neurologic)
- Interferences at heart and blood vessels. (cardiovascular)
- Interferences at skin. (dermatologic)
- Interferences at lungs. (pulmonal)
- Often get headache, nausea, vomit, increased body’s temperature, and insomnia.
- Interferences at reproduction system.
- Cause of death.
- Side effect toward psychology.
- Poor productivity and often getting anxious and tense.
- Losing own confidence, and full of doubts.
- Agitative, become violent and brutal behavior.
- Difficult to concentrate, and often depressed.
- Often hurting own selves, feeling insecurity, and suicide.
- Side effect toward social.
- Mental disorders.
- Anti-social and immoral.
- Excommunicated by its own surroundings.
- Being troublesome and burden to family.
- Disturbed education and future become gloomy.
Knowing this, we should stay away from illegal drugs. Since illegal drugs only bring misfortune to us. Also tell your relatives and acquaintances to stay away from drugs. Build your own determination to not use drugs, because it was all beginning within from ourselves. Thus, if we don’t commit any will to use drugs, we will have a bright future. Do you agree too?
