Club Duo Collective Collaboration: Critical Thinking Seminar Gone Online

The “Workshop x Critical Thinking” workshop held online via Zoom

Jakarta, December 17 2024 — The Binus English Club (BNEC) branch of Senayan recently hosted an insightful and inspiring workshop entitled “Workshop x Critical Thinking”. The workshop was conducted with digital means of teleconferencing through Zoom and was held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, around a 2 hour estimated runtime of 5:00 – 7:00 PM. The workshop welcomed dozens of interested individuals that were willing to sharpen their critical thinking skills to the test.

Spoken through the experiences of a fellow instructor, the seminar brought more excitement amongst the participants as they are challenged to analyze information quickly, think critically on the fly and make decisions on the spot. A notable moment during the workshop is when the speaker shares a couple of case studies where participants are required to share their thoughts critically and give logical reasons behind their thoughts.

Over the course of the event, the floor was given to the speaker and the audience, in order to give them a chance to interact with our esteemed guest speaker to know more about the subject. Quote, “this experience has not just been a learning journey for me, but it has also become a learning journey for you.” Agreeably, the attendees were parted with past experiences and understanding that they would have ever anticipated. Allowing the concept of critical thinking in a critical situation to be most helpful,

However, the success of this event would not have been possible had it not been for the collaboration of both campuses from both the Senayan and Alam Sutera regions. Allowing the experience to become more open-ended, as those who have attended learned many different perspectives from each other.

Overall, the experience allowed the participants to connect their sense of creativity and intuition to their fullest potential. Allowing those to learn from others so that they may sharpen their critical thinking skills as well. Duo collaborative effort would not have been possible had it been for the staff from different regions. However, it goes to show that even differences can make a difference to spark the minds and many others.
