BINUS University’s Strength Showing in NOVED 2024

BINUS University recently competed in the prestigious National Online Varsity English Debate (NOVED) 2024 from October 25th to November 3rd 2024 through Zoom. BINUS had sent out one team, consisting of Jennifer Marcellyn Cen and Rachel Chen. Although the team faced strong competition and did not proceed past the elimination rounds, they displayed commendable skill, resilience, and teamwork that further solidified their reputation as a formidable contender in the national debate scene.

Throughout the competition, BINUS University’s debaters showcased their analytical abilities and eloquence, tackling complex topics and engaging in rigorous intellectual exchange and both debaters managed to achieve some great placements in the competition. Jennifer managed to achieve 5rd Best Open Speaker, while Rachel managed to achieve 2nd Best Open Speaker throughout the whole competition.
