Film enthusiasts will be aware that there are numerous films created worldwide. Sometimes a movie is made based on a genuine story, sometimes a movie is made solely because someone authored a wonderful book and it became a best-selling. In the end, the book could be turned into a movie. Then it gained popularity and demand. Even if the expense of production is high, takes a lot of time, and drains the actors’ and actresses’ energy, there are many films that are in demand and there are also films that fail or do not sell well.
A film can receive awards if it is successful. These awards can come from the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, etc. Of course, the movie will gain popularity if it wins an award and is deemed desirable by the public. Here are the lists of the most well-liked movies ever made.
Avatar (2009)
James Cameron directed the IDR 39 trillion profitable movie Avatar. For ten years, this movie held the record for largest box office take. The movie was extremely popular and garnered high marks for its visual effects and effective use of motion capture shooting methods.
Titanic (1997)
James Cameron, who also directed the Avatar movie, is in charge of this one. The movie Titanic, about a couple of lovers named Rose and Jack who must be stuck in a love tale aboard the ship due to economic difficulties. This film was able to make a profit of IDR 32 trillion. The contrasts that exist between these two will increase interest in and demand for the film Titanic.
Jurassic World (2015)
The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow and it was able to reap a profit of IDR 24.4 trillion. In this Jurassic World film, the audience will be brought into the story of two brothers who are in a dinosaur amusement park. However, due to errors and insurmountable problems the state of the amusement park became chaotic. Claire and Owen must save the two nephews, and also save the dinosaurs that threaten human life.
Avengers : End Game (2019)
This movie is the 22nd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is a sequel to Avengers: Infinity War (Marvel Cinematic Universe). In this movie, the Avengers team restore order to the Earth that Thanos shattered in Infinity War. The movie was nominated for and won numerous awards. Examples include being nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 92nd Academy Awards, receiving three nominations at the 25th Critics Awards, two of which were rewarded with awards, and being nominated for Special Visual Effects at the 73rd Academy Film Awards.
The Lion King (2019)
The 1994 original movie was remade as The Lion King. A lion cub named Simba battles his evil uncle in this movie. Where Simba must overcome a risky obstacle since his uncle deceitfully prevents Simba from becoming King. In order for Simba to eventually rule the jungle, he must be able to conquer formidable obstacles.
