Winning The Best Student Organization of the Year award for the 7th times

We need to set goals and targets when we want to become extraordinary. We also need a detailed work plan to achieve the goals, and after giving full effort to execute the work plan and pursue our desire, we can attain a genuine achievement. When we clearly know our desire and why, we will be successful.

With “To be a Star” as the theme, BINUS held another Appreciation Day on March 28, 2018, with the purpose of giving appreciation to all Binusian who represented BINUS in a competition and successfully got achievement. They started the event with a series of spectacular shows, such as the performance of Nadhia, an international champion of Wushu, and Paramabira with the songs they performed in the competition at Belgium. Continuing to the main series of events, all the winners were getting appreciation on the stage. It started from the International Plus category, until Jabodetabek as the last category, interspersed with enjoyable performances. Some of our talents managed to win championships and get called to the stage too. This implies we had successfully become the platform for them to train and achieve great things.

After that, they announced the best organization from each existed category. From 4 categories, BNEC was categorized as Reasoning Category (Penalaran). There were top 3 nominees and the winner would be announced in this Appreciation Day. From the Reasoning Category, the top 3 nominees were BNEC, BNCC and BSLC. After a long wait, BNEC once again got the honor of achieving The Best Student Organization award in Reasoning Category.

Finally, the time for The 2017 Best Student Organization of the Year announcement came. A quick brief of information, BNEC was awarded with this achievement starting from the first year BINUS created this achievement in 2010 until 2016, except in 2013, when BNCC was the one receiving the award, thanks to everyone who always give us support endlessly. The candidates were the winner of each category, and they were BNEC, BDM, KMBD, and Badminton. The 2017 Best Student Organization of the Year was finally announced, and BNEC was chosen as the winner. However, the winner was not us only, but also all organizations that had given their best effort to give a bigger impact for BINUS.

The year 2017 has passed, and a new journey begins, where we must give our best effort in order to contribute more to the society. Each organization and all their entities shall work together to give the best for BINUS University.
