THE 33rd BNEC CADRE FORMING “WHEN EXTRAORDINARY MIND MEETS LEADERSHIP”

Leadership is not formed overnight. It grows through experience, reflection, and meaningful connections. With this belief, BINUS English Club (BNEC) successfully conducted its Cadre Forming and Basic Leadership Training on December 20 and 21, 2025 at BINUS Campus of Bekasi and Syahdan, carrying the theme “When Extraordinary Mind Meets Leadership.” This event marked an important milestone for prospective activists, who would later become the Board of Management (BoM), as they prepared to take on leadership roles within the organization.

The chosen theme reflects the core objective of the program: to bring together individuals with diverse ideas, creativity, and potential, and shape them into leaders who are confident, responsible, and impactful. Every participant came with an extraordinary mindset, and through this Cadre Forming, they were guided to transform that potential into leadership values that align with the organization’s vision.

The event was designed not only to introduce organizational roles and responsibilities, but also to develop essential leadership skills. Through structured leadership material sessions, participants explored topics such as effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership ethics. These sessions aimed to equip BoMs with a strong foundation before they face real organizational challenges in the future.

To complement the theoretical sessions, the Cadre Forming featured a Project Event Making activity as its main practical component. Participants were divided into teams and challenged to design an event concept from planning to execution. This activity encouraged BoMs to think critically, make strategic decisions, solve problems collaboratively, and manage differences within a team. It served as a real simulation of how leadership works in practice.

Beyond formal sessions, the program also included a series of interactive games designed to strengthen bonding among BoMs. These activities allowed participants to connect on a more personal level, break down barriers, and build trust with one another. Through teamwork-based games and challenges, BoMs learned that strong leadership is built on mutual understanding, cooperation, and a sense of belonging.

The Cadre Forming concluded with an Inauguration Ceremony, symbolizing the official transition of participants into the Board of Management of BINUS English Club (BNEC). This moment served as both a celebration and a commitment, reminding BoMs of the responsibilities they now carry as organizational leaders. The inauguration reinforced the values of integrity, dedication, and collective growth that the organization upholds.

By the end of the program, participants not only gained leadership knowledge and practical skills, but also formed meaningful connections with their fellow BoMs. The Cadre Forming proved to be more than a training program, it was a transformative experience where extraordinary minds came together, embraced leadership, and began a shared journey toward creating impact within the organization.
