Binus Representative Kania Chiara Safina Joins DAMALIRA 2025 as Adjudicator

The Debat Mahasiswa Lintas Nusantara (DAMALIRA) is one of Indonesia’s newest yet rapidly rising university-level debating tournaments, adopting the British Parliamentary format in Indonesian. As the inaugural edition accompanying long-standing tournaments in the national debate circuit, DAMALIRA serves as a platform for students from across the country to compete and refine their debating skills in a high-standard competitive setting.

This year, BINUS University was represented by Kania Chiara Safina, who joined DAMALIRA 2025 as an adjudicator. Being selected as an adjudicator reflects a strong vote of confidence in her capability to evaluate debates fairly, professionally, and with sound judgment. Her involvement highlights the crucial role adjudicators play in upholding competitive integrity and ensuring that the tournament runs smoothly and objectively.

Although Kania did not advance past the preliminary rounds as a participant, her journey in DAMALIRA 2025 was still a meaningful and impactful one. By taking on the adjudicator role, she contributed directly to maintaining the fairness and credibility of the tournament, reinforcing the spirit of academic rigor and respect that the event stands for.
