The “From Conflict to Collaboration: Communicating Across Differences” workshop brought an engaging and insightful afternoon to the BINUS JWC Campus, hosted by BNEC Senayan.

The event kicked off with a welcome from the MC, followed by an introduction of the guest speaker, Felix Lasarus, Commissioner of Abel Group and Hybrid Indonesia. Felix delivered a compelling session focused on mastering communication in high-pressure situations, especially in interviews and collaborative environments. Participants were taught how to present their strengths clearly, communicate aspirations effectively, and handle self-introductions with confidence.

Felix emphasized the art of pitching how a concise, confident introduction can leave a lasting impression and offered practical tips on articulating one’s strengths and career aspirations. More than just speaking, he reminded the audience that great communicators are also great listeners: “Great collaboration starts not just by talking, but by truly listening,” . The workshop featured interactive Q&A where students engaged with real-world scenarios, followed by a fast-paced team collaboration challenge that tested participants’ ability to work under pressure. These hands-on activities reinforced key lessons in trust-building, adaptability, and clear communication.

These activities reinforced the practical application of the skills discussed and encouraged teamwork under real-life dynamics. The event concluded with the awarding of a certificate and plaque to the speaker and prizes for winners of the group challenge.
