Unlock Your Potential: Time Management, Personal Branding, and Communication Excellence — 2024 BNEC Professional Class

The BNEC Professional Class made an exciting return in 2024, bringing its renowned blend of practical learning and personal development. This year’s theme, “Unlock Your Potential: Time Management, Personal Branding, and Communication Excellence,” was tailored to equip BNEC members, Binusians, and the general public with critical skills necessary to succeed in the modern professional world.

Running from September 20–21, 2024, the event delivered a combination of two insightful seminars and a highly interactive workshop. The first seminar, held on September 20, focused on “Efficient Time Management: Reducing Strain and Boosting Productivity,” offering participants practical tools to balance competing demands while maximizing productivity. The second seminar addressed “Personal Branding: How to Stand Out in the Job Market,” providing expert guidance on creating a unique and memorable professional identity.

On September 21, the spotlight shifted to a workshop titled “Clear Communication: Enhancing Your Professional Growth,” which offered participants hands-on strategies to improve workplace communication. Attendees gained essential skills to advance their careers through effective and impactful communication, making it a crucial learning experience.

This year’s Professional Class had a clear mission—to equip attendees with realistic strategies for navigating workplace challenges, honing their critical thinking, and fostering problem-solving skills that are crucial in any professional setting. With these sessions, participants were guided towards BINUS Graduate Attributes such as Adaptability and Growth Mindset, preparing them to embrace change and challenge workplace stereotypes.

For Seminar 1, we had the pleasure of hearing from Gladys Callista Yacintaman, the 31st BNEC Presidency General Secretary. Drawing from her wealth of experience in BNEC and other student organizations, Gladys shared her tried-and-tested time management techniques, helping participants reduce stress and stay on top of their game.
