Seminar Learning Elevator Pitch for Self-Branding : BNEC 2024
Jakarta, September 20, 2024 – BINUS English Club (BNEC) held a successful onsite seminar at the BINUS JWC Campus, aimed at enhancing university students’ self-confidence and communication abilities. The seminar, titled “Mindset and Self-Confidence: Learning Elevator Pitch for Self-Branding”, took place on Thursday, September 20, 2024, from 13:30 to 15:10 WIB.
This event, organized as part of BNEC 2024, attracted university students eager to refine their personal and professional communication skills. With a focus on helping participants articulate their unique strengths and values through an effective elevator pitch, the seminar emphasized the importance of self-confidence in professional networking and job interviews.
The seminar was led by Franklin G. Talaue, a lecturer and Manager of the English Language Center at BINUS International University Senayan. As an expert in academic English, Mr. Talaue provided valuable insights into crafting a compelling elevator pitch and confidently presenting oneself in professional settings. The session was interactive, with students encouraged to ask questions and participate in a speaking challenge for the chance to win prizes.
After the seminar’s main presentation, participants took part in a Q&A session, engaging directly with Mr. Talaue, followed by an exciting game designed to test their new skills. The event concluded with a certificate and plaque being presented to Mr. Talaue, along with prizes for game winners.
