FOUR POPULAR SCHOLARSHIPS THAT NEEDS AN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST SCORE
Scholarships are divided into partial and full scholarships. The difference between those types is the benefits that students will get. Partial scholarships will only help with tuition fees, but full scholarships will help with tuition fees, accommodation, and allowance. Aside from the benefits students can get, the other benefit is students can meet other people that come from different countries.
Students from different countries come with other languages. Still, they use English because the lecturer will deliver most of the material in college in English, and they need it for daily conversation too. - Fulbright Scholarship
If you are looking for a master and doctoral scholarship, you can apply for the Fullbright scholarship. It is managed through AMINEF, an institution in charge of US-Indonesian student exchange cooperation. Fulbright scholarship has a global reputation, gives you a full scholarship, and you have a chance to continue your study on one of the top US campuses. This scholarship needs an English test score. You can take the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo test and have a minimal score for TOEFL ITP 550, TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.5, or Duolingo 105.3.
- IFA Paris Scholarship
Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and it has a top campus named International Fashion Academy (IFA). If you have a passion for fashion and want to continue your study, you can apply for the IFA Paris scholarship. IFA provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs specifically for fashion. This scholarship needs an English test score. You can take TOEFL or IELTS and have a minimum score for TOEFL of 65 or IELTS of 5.5. Here is the IFA Paris Scholarship Coverage:
- Full Scholarship (100 percent free of tuition fees)
- Excellence Scholarship (40 percent reduction in tuition fees)
- Distinction Scholarship (20 percent reduction in tuition fees)
- KAIST Scholarship
KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is one of the best technology campuses in Korea. If you have a passion for technology, KAIST provides undergraduate programs for it. This scholarship needs an English test score. You can take TOEFL, TOEIC, TEPS, or IELTS and have minimum score for TOEFL iBT 83, TOEFL PBT 63, TOEFL CBT 220, TOEIC Listening and Reading 720, TEPS 326, or IELTS 6.5. Here is the KAIST Scholarship coverage with the requirement to be able to maintain a GPA above 2.7 out of a scale of 4.3 after the first year at KAIST:
- Free tuition for eight semesters
- Living expenses support of $300 or IDR 4.3 million per month
- Health insurance costs
- Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship
Toronto University is one of the top campuses in Canada. It has an undergraduate scholarship named Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship program is a program for those with academic achievement and extraordinary creativity. This scholarship is very prestigious and competitive for international students. It has more than 700 undergraduate programs. Every year only about 37 students will get this scholarship. This scholarship needs an English test score. You can take TOEFL or IELTS and have a minimum score for TOEFL iBT 100 (minimum score on writing section is 22), IELTS 6.5 (minimum score for each section is 6.0), or an equivalent language certificate. This scholarship coverage tuition, book allowances, incidentals, and full four-year housing support in Toronto, Canada.
