SPORTS TO STIMULATE YOUR BRAIN
Our brain plays a big part in our daily activities such as studying and working. To bring maximum results, we need to have a full concentration on our task. But we all know that it’s not easy to keep focusing on one thing for a long period of time, and we often get distracted by things near us. Now, what we can do is that we need to stimulate our brain regularly in order to make our focus last longer. Down below are some sports that we can do to improve our brain performance.
Table Tennis
Most of us probably doesn’t know that table tennis is the world’s best brain sport. Table tennis is good exercise for our brain because it gives the brain a workout by coordinating a hand-eye movement, involves concentration, and also fast mental calculation.
Chess
Chess is a good workout for our brain because it’s a part of a strategic board game. We are forced to think about the next moves that we need to do while calculating its impact on our opponent. By playing chess over and over, we’ll improve our brain capacity alongside our fast-thinking skills.
Basketball
As a team sport, basketball brings lots of benefits to our brains. It enhances our teamwork, strategic thinking, and also hand-eye coordination. Not only that, by playing basketball frequently, we can improve our reflexes alongside with visual accuracy that helps us when we need to shoot our shot.
Martial Arts
We all know that martial arts require lots of energy and it also helps us to become stronger. Other than the benefits above, martial arts are also known to help to boost our brain intelligence and also sharpen it because we need to pay attention to our surroundings with every aspect of our senses.
Golf
Golf is known by most of us as a relaxing sport and also an expensive one. Despite that stereotype, golf isn’t as easy as we thought it’d be and it can improve our brain performance as well. Considering that we need to focus, concentrate, and understand our surroundings before we swing our golf sticks.
The list above is just some of the sports that you can do to improve your brain performance and help to stimulate it. Alongside those benefits, doing sports also makes us healthy. So, let’s improve our life alongside our brains by managing our health together!
