  • KAIST Scholarships

KAIST University is one of the famous leading universities in Asia. The Korean government built it in 1971 as the country’s first research-oriented science and engineering university.

This scholarship is offered for masters and PhD studies which will cover full tuition fees, a monthly allowance of up to 400,000 KRW, and also medical health insurance fees. There are three intakes from different batches each year. First, the spring semester is from August to September, the second is the fall semester (early) batch from December to January, and lastly is the fall semester (regular) batch from March – April. There are only limited academic fields offered for this scholarship.

  • Fulbright Scholarships

If you are looking forward to studying in the USA, this scholarship will give you the perfect chance to pursue it. The Fulbright Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship intended for international students pursuing their masters and Ph.D. degree. It covers all student expenses, such as tuition fees, airfare, medical insurance, stipend paid monthly, and full accommodation fee.

Sponsored by the U.S Department of State, the purpose of this scholarship is to give opportunities for different groups of individuals to study in educational institutions in the United States. Scholarships are awarded to those from economically disadvantaged groups, minorities, and historically underrepresented groups. All fields of study are offered in this scholarship, including interdisciplinary courses.

  • CSC Scholarship

Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship for international students interested in studying in China. It is available for students pursuing bachelor, master, and doctoral degree. This scholarship covers basic health insurance, accommodation, and monthly allowance up to 3500 Yuan. Through this scholarship, the Chinese Scholarship Council aims to encourage education, culture, economic, educational and political exchanges, collaboration, and mutual understanding between other nations and China.

Applications are submitted through the CSC portal and then submit the required documents to the chosen university along with the CSC scholarship application form. Generally, applications are open from December to April every year. There are different benefits provided for this scholarship in each level which are:

  • Type A: CSC Scholarship covers registration fees, accommodation (in a university residence in a shared room with another person), basic medical insurance and a monthly allowance for personal expenses (between 2,500 and 3,500 Yuan per month, approximately 350 and 500 USD respectively).
  • Type B: CSC Scholarship covers the same as the Type A scholarship, except for the monthly allowance for personal expenses.
  • Type C: CSC Scholarship is another type of partial scholarship with little benefits.

  • DAAD Scholarship

DAAD Scholarship is for those who want to study in Germany. This fully-funded scholarship is open for international students continuing their masters or Ph.D. degree. This scholarship covers monthly payments of 861 euros for graduates or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates, airfare is also included unless it is covered by the home country or other sources, medical health insurance, and a one-off study allowance.

Only certain courses are offered in this scholarship such as economic sciences, law, art and design, engineering and natural sciences, etc. Application deadlines are based on the chosen study program. Candidates can apply up to three courses by submitting required documents directly to the university.
