MINI CAMPAIGN 2: BATIK DAY

Mini Campaign is one of the annual programs held by BNEC. This time, the Mini Campaign is back with a “Nusantara” theme, where the execution of this event is in line with the celebration of Batik day. The purpose of this event is to increase the knowledge and awareness of Binusian and Non-Binusian about Indonesian culture, especially Batik, so that they can be encouraged to preserve it.

This event consists of a social media campaign through Instagram, webinar, and Batik Challenge that was held on October 2, 2021 until October 31, 2021. The webinar with the theme “How Can Indonesian Culture Survive in The Modern Era of Globalization” was attended by 54 Binusian from various majors as well as Non-Binusian through the Zoom Meeting platform. Then, for the Batik Challenge, 60 participants participated in the challenge. In this challenge, the participants performed various things related to Batik to gain people’s awareness, for example, by wearing Batik clothes and explaining the meaning behind the pattern, making commitments to preserve Indonesian culture, and so on. The committee hopes that through this event, all participants can acquire benefits, gain more knowledge, and contribute themselves in preserving Indonesian culture, especially Batik.

After reading this news, do you regret not joining this event? Worry no more, because Mini Campaign will be held again next time for all Binusian and Non-Binusian with another topic that will increase your knowledge even more. So, see you in the next Mini Campaign!
