IMCB Company Visit to PT. PARAGON TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION

On May 8th, 2026, IMCB successfully held a company visit to ParagonCorp at the Paragon Community Hub. The event was attended by 46 participants who departed together from BINUS Anggrek Campus by bus. More than just a company visit, the event became an opportunity for participants to gain firsthand insights into how one of Indonesia’s largest companies manages itsbpeople as part of its long-term business strategy. The main purpose of this company visit was to help participants understand the relationship between human resources and business growth. As a corporation with more than 13,000 employees, Paragon shared how strategic human resource management has contributed significantly to the company’s development and sustainability over the years.
Through this event, participants were able to see that business growth is not only driven by products or marketing strategies, but also by how a company manages, develops, and values its people. The journey began with an enthusiastic atmosphere as participants gathered at BINUS Anggrek before departing together to the venue. Throughout the trip, participants showed excitement for the opportunity to visit and learn directly from a well-known company such as Paragon. The shared bus ride also created a lively and engaging environment among participants before the event officially started. Upon arriving at Paragon Community Hub, participants were directed to the venue and warmly welcomed by the Paragon team. The event started with opening remarks from representatives of both IMCB and Paragon. Following the opening session, both parties exchanged tokens of appreciation as a symbol of gratitude and collaboration. The main seminar session began with an introduction to Paragon’s company profile, allowing participants to learn more about the company’s background, values, and work culture.

The session then continued with a discussion regarding the role of human resources in supporting business growth. Participants gained valuable insights into how Paragon manages thousands of employees while maintaining a positive and productive working environment. During the seminar, participants learned about the importance of employee development, company culture, and internal collaboration in supporting long-term organizational growth. The discussion highlighted how human resources are positioned not only as an operational function, but also as a strategic partner that directly contributes to business success. The topic successfully captured participants’ attention, as several participants actively asked questions and took notes throughout the session.
After the seminar session, participants were invited to join a company tour around Paragon’s working area. One unique aspect that attracted participants’ attention was the concept of Paragon’s office buildings. Paragon uses multiple smaller interconnected buildings, creating a more dynamic and comfortable working environment. During the tour at Paragon Community Hub, participants experienced the fun and creative side of Paragon’s workplace environment through various recreational facilities inside the building, including a slide and several play areasbdesigned to create a comfortable and engaging workspace for employees, most of whom belong to the Gen Z and Gen Y generations.
Participants were also taken to the Paragon store in a different building, where they had the opportunity to explore and purchase various Paragon products, making the visit both educational and enjoyable. The company tour gave participants a closer look at Paragon’s workplace atmosphere and how the company creates a comfortable environment that supports collaboration and productivity. This experience allowed participants to connect the theories discussed during the seminar with the actual implementation within the company.
Overall, the event ran smoothly according to the planned rundown and successfully met the committee’s expectations. Participants not only gained new knowledge regarding the relationship between human resources and business growth, but also experienced a valuable opportunity to observe the corporate environment firsthand. The positive responses and enthusiasm shown throughout the event reflected the participants’ interest in learning more about the corporate world.
Through this company visit, IMCB hopes participants can broaden their perspectives regarding the importance of human resources in building a successful and sustainable business.
