IMMERCON 2026 @KMG: Where Stories Meet Strategy, Connecting IMCB, HIMA FB LSPR, and KayaRaya LSPR

On 10th October 2026, International Marketing Club BINUS (IMCB) held IMMERCON 2026, a benchmarking program in collaboration with HIMA FB LSPR and KayaRaya LSPR, under the theme “Where Stories Meet Strategy.” Hosted at BINUS @Kemanggisan, the event brought together students from different organizations to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and strengthen connections through meaningful collaboration.

IMMERCON is one of IMCB’s annual work programs designed to provide a platform for student organizations to learn from one another. Through benchmarking, participants can gain new perspectives on organizational management, program development, teamwork, and communication strategies. Beyond sharing knowledge, the program also aims to build relationships between organizations and inspire participants to apply valuable insights to their respective communities. For the organizing committee, IMMERCON 2026 served as an opportunity to develop their skills in event management, coordination, and collaboration.

Meanwhile, participants were expected to gain fresh ideas, broaden their perspectives, and establish connections that could lead to future opportunities. Through this initiative, IMCB hopes to encourage continuous improvement and create a supportive environment where student organizations can grow together. The event began with an opening session that welcomed participants from IMCB, HIMA FB LSPR, and KayaRaya LSPR. As the representatives of the three organizations gathered, IMMERCON 2026 became a space for students with different experiences and organizational backgrounds to connect. The theme, “Where Stories Meet Strategy,” reflected the importance of combining individual experiences with strategic thinking. Every organization has its own journey, challenges, and approaches to achieving its goals. By bringing these different perspectives together, IMMERCON encouraged participants to recognize the value of learning from one another. The beginning of the event also set the tone for an engaging and collaborative experience. Participants had the opportunity to become acquainted with one another, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encouraged interaction throughout the program.

As the event continued, participants engaged in benchmarking sessions that provided opportunities to exchange insights about their respective organizations. These discussions allowed them to learn about different approaches to organizational management, teamwork, and the execution of programs. Through the exchange of experiences, participants could reflect on their own organizational practices while discovering ideas that might be adapted to their future initiatives. The discussions also highlighted how each organization has its own strengths and challenges, making the sharing of knowledge an important part of collective growth. Rather than simply presenting information, the benchmarking experience encouraged participants to look beyond their usual perspectives. By listening to different experiences and engaging in discussions, they could identify opportunities for improvement and gain a better understanding of how other organizations operate.

Beyond the knowledge shared during the sessions, IMMERCON 2026 also emphasized the importance of building connections. The interactions between IMCB, HIMA FB LSPR, and KayaRaya LSPR provided opportunities for participants to expand their networks and establish relationships with fellow students who share similar interests. These connections are valuable not only during the event but also for potential collaborations in the future. By fostering communication and mutual understanding, IMMERCON created an opportunity for the three organizations to strengthen their relationships and explore possibilities for working together. The event demonstrated that benchmarking is not solely about comparingorganizational practices. It is also about understanding different perspectives, appreciating one another’s experiences, and discovering how collaboration can create greater value.

As IMMERCON 2026 came to an end, the event marked more than just the conclusion of a benchmarking program. It represented an opportunity for IMCB, HIMA FB LSPR, and KayaRaya LSPR to learn from one another, strengthen their connections, and bring home valuable insights for their respective organizations. For the organizing committee, the experience provided valuable lessons in planning, coordination, and working together to deliver a meaningful event. For the participants, it offered new perspectives, opportunities that connect, and inspiration for their future organizational journeys.

Through “Where Stories Meet Strategy,” IMMERCON 2026 reinforced the idea that every organization has a story worth sharing and every experience holds a lesson worth learning. By bringing these stories together, the event encouraged participants to turn shared knowledge into meaningful strategies for future growth. IMCB extends its appreciation to HIMA FB LSPR, KayaRaya LSPR, and everyone involved in making IMMERCON 2026 a valuable experience. May the connections established and insights gained throughout the event continue to inspire future collaborations and achievements.
