Unlocking Potential and Building Character at LDKCP
The spirit of developing future leaders at BINUS University never fades, and the Management Student Association (HIMME) continues to elevate this journey with vision and creativity. On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at BINUS Alam Sutera, HIMME officially held one of its most pivotal internal programs: Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Calon Pengurus (LDKCP) HIMME 2026. Centered around the empowering theme “Rise of Heroes: Leading Beyond Limits” with the inspiring tagline “Every leader has a story. This is where yours begins,” the event was designed to awaken the hero within every future leader of the organization.
Bringing together all HIMME activists alongside the Central Board of Directors (DPI) and managers, LDKCP 2026 introduced a fresh twist that brought incredible energy to the room: a “Hero Role Model” dress code. Activists showed up suited as the role models who inspire them most, turning the venue into a vibrant gathering of diverse real-world and fictional icons. The event officially kicked off with an inspiring opening address from HIMME’s advisory lecturer, Pak Rianto, whose encouraging words set a solid, goal-oriented tone for the transformative day ahead.
The main segment transitioned into comprehensive departmental presentations aimed at giving activists a 360-degree view of organizational management. The session opened with high-level insights from the President Director, Campus President, General Secretary, and General Treasurer, laying down the foundational direction of HIMME. The momentum continued as HRD, RnQ, Relation, Multimedia, Missionaries, and Academic departments took the floor one by one, sharing their strategic functions, work routines, and secrets to maintaining team synergy.
Beyond absorbing valuable organizational knowledge, participants put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test during an energetic interactive games session. Laughter, dynamic strategy, and healthy competition filled the hall as groups collaborated to overcome challenges together. The excitement reached its peak towards the evening during the awards ceremony, where the crowd cheered for the game-winning teams and celebrated the most creative outfits during the Best Costume award announcement.
More than just a standard training program, LDKCP 2026 served as a meaningful space for activists to build trust, step out of their comfort zones, and realize their individual strength. The hope for this year’s activists is that they carry the spirit of their hero role models into every project they undertake, leading with integrity, pushing past boundaries, and creating a lasting, positive impact throughout their journey in HIMME.
