DIGIMARK 2022 PRESENTED AN EXCEPTIONAL DIGITAL MARKETING EXPERIENCE FOR HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS

DIGIMARK 2022 is an annual two-series event that is organized by Binus International University alongside HIMME BINUS (The Business and Management Student Association of BINUS University) taking this years theme “Building and Maintaining Customer Engagement in the New Normal Business Landscape”. DIGIMARK consists of a national scale digital marketing case competition for highschool students, as well as an interactive webinar that had Matthew James, the owner of Freshbox, as its speaker. This year, DIGIMARK 2022 was in collaboration with Freshbox, a platform that provides purchasing services for fresh and healthy groceries, that aims to increase the sales growth of Indonesian farmer products in addition to give practical upon enjoyable delivery assistance. 

 

 

 

With 37 teams participating from highschool students in all-over the nation, only 5 teams made it to the final presentation round. The lucky-five who had a one-step ahead chance to be the winner were GSPI 1, Jestelin, Syafana’22, GSPI 3 and Inators. The Final Presentation Round of DIGIMARK 2022 was held on December 3rd, 2022 which presents experts and professional such as Lecturer & Subject Content Coordinator at BINUS International Bryna Meivitawanli, S.E.; B.Sc., MBA, Ph.D, Deputy Head of Business Management and Marketing at Binus International Dr. Adilla Anggraeni, B.Bus., M.B.A; and Head of Sales and Business Development at FreshBox Jocelyn Halim and Moderated by our own HIMME Activist and Binus International Student, Muhammad Axel.

The webinar of DIGIMARK 2022 took place after the final presentation on the same day via zoom meeting and has the same theme as the competition. More than 300 participants attended the event to acquire the knowledge of customer sustainability in the new normal era after COVID-19 pandemic from none other than the founder of Freshbox itself, Matthew James. Matthew James shared a meaningful insight to carry on innovating during the unfamiliar situation in business with the aim of focusing to advancing the company’s value, which can increase the customer engagement optimally.

The participants of the webinar were also given the exclusive chance to interact directly with the speaker during the Q&A Session and test their knowledge of digital marketing that the webinar has provided through Quizziz Session. The eagerness of the participants was shown in both of those interactive and entertaining sessions which gives them the lucky opportunity to win a total of IDR 400K E-Wallet.

Bringing up the rear, the winners of DIGIMARK x Freshbox 2022 was finally announced. Here are the details of the winners who got the total prize of IDR 9 Million++ :
