PKM 2: WORLD CHARITY DAY AT SEKOLAH ALTERNATIF ANAK JALANAN BY HIMSI BINUS & RISE

“Somehow, PkM returned.” Get it? Like the return of Palpatine in Star Wars Episode 9, PkM second return to HIMSI is quite a surprise, in a good way. This time, HIMSI’s second PkM was done in one day, in collaboration with RISE (please check their website! They offer good programs for kids to learn English). With the theme of “International Day of Charity”, the PkM took place in Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan on September, 24th. 

Still led by Nida, the committees were smaller compared to the first PkM conducted months ago. The decision was made because PkM 2 is simpler, and was done in cooperation with RISE. The committees and RISE taught English about the name of animals to the kids (the range of 1st to 2nd grade), then proceeded with the snakes and ladders game. At the end of the event, donations from RISE were given to the kids.

Once again, thank you RISE for the offer, and thanks to everyone. This event marks the end of Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat by HIMSI. See you all next year!
