Youth Motion 2023 – No ledge: Transforming Chaos into Organized Bliss with Notion #ProductiveYOUth

Youth Motion merupakan sebuah Acara yang diadakan oleh AIESEC in Indonesia yang dirancang untuk menghubungkan para pemuda melalui webinar dan workshop. 

Dalam era digital, peran teknologi dapat dianggap sebagai pedang bermata dua. Di satu sisi, kemampuan manusia untuk mengakses informasi dengan cepat dan mudah melalui perangkat genggamnya telah meningkat secara signifikan. Namun, di sisi lain, kenyamanan ini sering kali menyebabkan individu mengalami informasi yang berlebihan, terutama melalui media sosial  Selain itu, tugas-tugas sehari-hari seperti pekerjaan kuliah, proyek pribadi, dan catatan kelas juga menambah beban informasi dan melahirkan sebuah fenomena yang bernama information overload. Dampak dari information overload ini dapat mencakup penurunan produktivitas, burnout, dan bahkan tingkat stres dan kecemasan yang tinggi. 

Oleh karena itu, diperlukan keterampilan manajemen data, seperti konsep “second brain,” sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi beban informasi yang berlebihan dan menciptakan struktur yang lebih terorganisir. Salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan untuk membangun “second brain” ini adalah Notion, sebuah aplikasi catatan yang open source dengan berbagai fitur yang dapat membantu individu membangun dan mengelola “second brain” yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mereka.

Webinar dan workshop ini akan berfokus pada peningkatan kesadaran tentang penggunaan alat produktivitas seperti Notion yang dapat membantu mereka menjadi lebih produktif. Dengan itu, dalam Youth Motion: “Improving Productivity, No ledge: Transforming Chaos into Organized Bliss with Notion #ProductiveYOUth” ini akan mempelajari topik-topik penting dan mendorong adanya diskusi yang dinamis di antara para pemuda, dengan tujuan akhir untuk membekali mereka dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk memanfaatkan alat produktivitas seperti Notion secara efektif, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan pengembangan diri mereka.

Acara Youth Motion tahun ini “Improving Productivity” diiringi oleh Master of Ceremony (MC) Fanessa Andromeda dan Moderator Felice Marvella Sucahyo, yang mempersilahkan Organizing Committee President, Hilmi Wiseso Farid Widodo dan Ihsan Prasetyo Mulyo sebagai Person in Charge (PIC) untuk memulai acara dengan kata sambutan. Acara dilanjutkan dengan moderator dan MC yang mempersilahkan pembicara yaitu Nina Nuraeni untuk membawakan sesi pertama yang berjudul “Maximizing your mind: Unleashing Your Second Brain in the Digital Age” yang dimana akan membagikan pengetahuan dari Speaker tentang konsep “second brain” dan bagaimana mengaplikasikannya dalam dunia kerja atau kehidupan perkuliahan menggunakan Notion. Para peserta akan didorong untuk membuat “second brain” mereka sendiri dengan menggunakan Notion untuk meningkatkan produktivitas mereka. 

Setelah sesi webinar yang dibawakan oleh Speaker yakni Nina Nuraeni, lanjut ke sesi selanjutnya yakni workshop yang dibawakan oleh Jonathan Septiadi sebagai fasilitator, yang akan membimbing peserta dalam membuat dashboard Notion yang dipersonalisasi. Dalam sesi workshop pertama akan mencakup dasar-dasar pembuatan dashboard Notion, membantu peserta memahami fungsi-fungsi dasar dari dashboard Notion yang dipraktekkan langsung oleh fasilitator. Lanjut ke sesi workshop kedua yang akan berfokus pada optimalisasi dashboard yang telah dibuat oleh para peserta, mengajarkan mereka cara mempersonalisasi dan mendesain dashboard Notion mereka secara efektif.

Acara Youth Motion “Improving Productivity” ditutup dengan acara dokumentasi dan dilanjutkan oleh pengumuman pemenang dari Best Delegates yaitu peserta terbaik. Pemenang juga mendapatkan hadiah berupa e-money untuk mengapresiasi keaktifannya. MC dan moderator kemudian melanjutkan dengan mengapresiasi Speaker dan fasilitator berupa pemberian sertifikat yang diberikan secara langsung oleh Ihsan Prasetyo Mulyo sebagai PIC dan Hilmi Wiseso Farid Widodo sebagai Organizing Committee President. Lalu, MC dan moderator mengumumkan terkait para peserta untuk mengisi exit form yang tersedia di layar (qr code) atau link di kolom komentar. 

Secara keseluruhan, acara Youth Motion : “Improving Productivity, No ledge: Transforming Chaos into Organized Bliss with Notion #ProductiveYOUth” telah berjalan dengan sukses, dimulai dari perencanaan, penyusunan acara, sampai eksekusi di hari-h. Tingkat keaktifan peserta dan interaksinya dengan speaker, fasilitator dan MC serta moderator membuat event ini cukup ramai dan interaktif. Dalam form feedback yang diberikan juga dapat kita lihat bahwa semua peserta dan pembicara serta fasilitator memberikan respon yang sangat puas dengan jalannya acara. Mereka mengatakan banyak hal yang dapat diambil dari event ini. Kami percaya dengan berhasilnya acara ini, akan membuka kesempatan AIESEC in BINUS kedepannya untuk membuat acara yang jauh lebih baik lagi dan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan sekitar.

Youth Motion is an event organized by AIESEC in Indonesia designed to connect youth through webinars and workshops. 

In the digital age, the role of technology can be considered a double-edged sword. On the one hand, the ability for people to access information quickly and easily through their handheld devices has increased significantly. However, on the other hand, this convenience often leads to individuals experiencing information overload, especially through social media. In addition, daily tasks such as coursework, personal projects, and class notes also add to the burden of information and give birth to a phenomenon called information overload. The impact of information overload can include decreased productivity, burnout, and even high levels of stress and anxiety. 

Therefore, data management skills, such as the concept of “second brain,” are needed as a solution to overcome information overload and create a more organized structure. One of the tools that can be used to build this “second brain” is Notion, an open source note-taking application with various features that can help individuals build and manage a customized “second brain” according to their needs.

This webinar and workshop will focus on raising awareness about the use of productivity tools such as Notion that can help them be more productive. With that, in Youth Motion: “Improving Productivity, No ledge: Transforming Chaos into Organized Bliss with Notion #ProductiveYOUth” will delve into important topics and encourage dynamic discussions among the youth, with the ultimate goal of equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively utilize productivity tools such as Notion, thereby enhancing their productivity and self-development.

This year’s Youth Motion event “Improving Productivity” was ushered in by Master of Ceremony (MC) Fanessa Andromeda and Moderator Felice Marvella Sucahyo, who invited Organizing Committee President, Hilmi Wiseso Farid Widodo and Ihsan Prasetyo Mulyo as Person in Charge (PIC) to start the event with opening remarks. The event continued with the moderator and MC who invited the speaker, Nina Nuraeni, to present the first session entitled “Maximizing your mind: Unleashing Your Second Brain in the Digital Age” which will share knowledge from the Speaker about the concept of “second brain” and how to apply it in the world of work or lecture life using Notion. The participants will be encouraged to create their own “second brain” by using Notion to increase their productivity. 

After the webinar session presented by the Speaker, Nina Nuraeni, proceed to the next session which is a workshop presented by Jonathan Septiadi as a facilitator, who will guide participants in creating a personalized Notion dashboard. The first workshop session will cover the basics of creating a Notion dashboard, helping participants understand the basic functions of the Notion dashboard practiced directly by the facilitator. Moving on to the second workshop session which will focus on optimizing the dashboards that the participants have created, teaching them how to personalize and design their Notion dashboards effectively.

The Youth Motion “Improving Productivity” event was closed with a documentation session and followed by the announcement of the winners of the Best Delegates. The winner also received a prize of e-money to appreciate their activity. The MC and moderator then continued by appreciating the Speakers and facilitators in the form of certificates given directly by Ihsan Prasetyo Mulyo as PIC and Hilmi Wiseso Farid Widodo as Organizing Committee President. Then, the MC and moderator announced related to the participants to fill out the exit form available on the screen (qr code) or link in the comments column. 

Overall, the Youth Motion event: “Improving Productivity, No ledge: Transforming Chaos into Organized Bliss with Notion #ProductiveYOUth” has run successfully, starting from planning, event preparation, to execution on the day. The level of activeness of the participants and their interaction with the speakers, facilitators and MC and moderators made this event quite lively and interactive. In the feedback form provided, we can also see that all participants and speakers and facilitators gave very satisfied responses to the event. They said that there are many things that can be taken from this event. We believe that with the success of this event, it will open up opportunities for AIESEC in BINUS in the future to create even better events that can have a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
