Get to Know World Lupus Day

Did you know that Selena Gomez, the popular singer and actress, has been living with lupus? Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the immune system to attack healthy cells and tissues.

Despite the challenges she faced, she has continued to use her platform to raise awareness and funds for lupus research. She even launched the Selena Gomez Fund for Lupus Research at the University of Southern California to support research and treatment programs.
