Have you taken a break today? Did you know that overworking can damage your mental and physical health? This is your sign to take a break so stop working/studying for a while and you can read this post while you do so!

 

First of all, How do we know we’re overworked? How is it harmful?

A recent study by the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization shows that working more than 55 hours a week can have negative effects on your health. If you’re overworked, your cortisol levels (the primary stress hormone) increase which can lead to brain fog, high blood pressure and a host of other health problems.

 

Then, What are The Benefits of Taking Breaks?

Breaks allow you to pause and rest so that you can resume whatever you’re doing with new energy. Therefore, taking frequent breaks may bring you significant benefits, such as:
