How to do Power Nap

Power nap is a sleeping technique where you take a light sleep for 20 – 30 minutes to recharge your energy. Several studies prove that a power nap may be more successful than usual long sleeping to improve work performance post-nap.

 

SET COMFORT PLACE

Set a comfortable place to nap that will protect you from light and sound exposure that may disturb your nap.

SET ALARM FOR 15-25 MINUTES

15 – 25 minutes is the best amount of time to do a power nap. This is because after 30 minutes of falling asleep, you will enter the deep sleep phase.

AVOID POWER NAP IN THE AFTERNOON

Doing power nap in the afternoon can mess up your sleep schedule at night. It can also make you feel fatigued and groggy.
