AIESEC Future Leaders (Winter Peak) 2022 Destination Success: Discovering The Art of Self Growth and Potential
AIESEC Future Leaders (AFL) is initiated by AIESEC in Indonesia and AIESEC in BINUS with the aim to provide youth coaching in the form of a community so that they can further develop youth leadership roles in society. This program was conducted from 29 October to 10 December in 2022, with a total of 64 participants. AFL is a 3-month program consisting of skill development sessions where participants can get coaching for soft & hard skills listed in the AFL curriculum. This program was attended by participants aged 18-21 years with a range of education levels, namely 3rd-grade high school students, BINUS University students (B2022-B2025), and students in big cities. This 3-month program was conducted every two weeks with 3 major themes for 6 sessions.
Speaker Mawla Atqiyya Muhdiar delivered the first session of Bi-Weekly with the theme “Have Your Own Stage.” In addition to upgrading their personal development aspects, specifically in finding their passion and interest, this will provide prospective insight into their future opportunities. Participants were allowed to share their concerns and fears about dealing with grief or setbacks and learning to accept themselves with the speakers during this session.
Speaker Nityananda Risqika Andjani delivered the second of Bi-Weekly Sessions with the theme “Solve Your Own Maze.” Although not inferior to the previous speaker, the topic of the second speaker was still quite relevant to the previous topic, namely, interacting with participants to discuss and share about each participant’s interests, skills, and things they want to develop. Participants were allowed to discuss and apply the skills that they had gained through experience during this session.
Speaker Muhammad Ghazi delivered the third Bi-Weekly session with the theme “Establishing Self Growth Mindset.” The session began with an introduction to the journey to map their personal skills that can enhance their personal growth and future prospects. The speaker also shared his experience in becoming a leader of a certain company or organization.

Participants were also allowed to have a sharing session with the speaker about what aspects of CV preparation they struggle with.
Speaker Salindri Giraputri delivered the fifth biweekly session with the theme “Discover Your Endless Dream.” The session discussed the speaker’s journey, growth, and struggle in discovering a dream or passion that is appropriate for their persona. The speaker also shared some meaningful and applicable tips and strategies to build their personal skills and create a clear roadmap for the future in terms of honing their personal skill set and achieving their dreams.
Speaker Kristal Prima Prameswari delivered the sixth biweekly session with the theme “Define Your Rhythm to Grow.” Not only did the speaker share an interesting story of how she enhanced her capabilities, but she also highlighted how to find potential opportunities from their passion, skill sets, and experiences that can utilize their personal branding. Participants were also encouraged to have a sharing session with each other while talking about their overall struggles and experiences while trying to find their own identity, passion, skill sets, and building personal branding.
Each month, a few participants were nominated as the “best participant” and got a chance to win an e-wallet as an appreciation from us for attending and actively participating in the session. Furthermore, AFL provides other activities besides biweekly sessions and coaching sessions, such as Networking Space, which was held three times. The Networking Space aims to enable participants to widen their connections with AFL participants from AIESEC in Indonesia and abroad. This event was held as a farewell to AFL in BINUS with the participants and coaches, and there was also an LC Debrief.Participants can choose various opportunities through Activating Leadership Support (ALS) for what they want to do after they graduate from AFL. Before they can continue their journey to ALS, participants must first complete the AFL National Graduation.
