HIMTI Seminar @Senayan 2025: Fashioning the Future of Finance

On October 18, 2025, HIMTI Binus University Senayan successfully hosted its annual seminar titled “Fashioning the Future of Finance.” The event took place at the BINUS @Senayan FX Campus, gathering 70 Binusian students interested in the intersection of technology, finance, and sports innovation.

The seminar introduced attendees to the evolving world of Web3 and its impact on the sports industry, showing how blockchain technology can solve key challenges such as counterfeiting and the lack of reward systems for players and fans. The event featured two distinguished speakers: Mr. Martins, COO of DRX, and Mr. Ilham from Cyberhouse, both of whom shared valuable insights about how decentralized systems and digital ownership are shaping the next generation of fan engagement.

Throughout the session, participants were shown how DRX’s ecosystem leverages blockchain for real-world applications, from authenticating physical sportswear using NFC technology to rewarding players through the DRX Token. A live demonstration of the DRX SPORTNET app highlighted its capabilities in booking facilities, earning rewards through play, and tracking user progress, giving students a clear picture of how technology can enhance sporting experiences.

The event began with opening speeches from Event Chairman Lyonel Judson Saputra and HIMTI Senayan Representative Xian, followed by presentations from Cyberhouse and DRX. The seminar continued with a product showcase, material explanation, and an engaging Q&A session that allowed students to explore the practical applications of blockchain in sports and finance.

The event concluded with a group photo session, wrapping up a day filled with learning and inspiration. HIMTI Senayan once again demonstrated its commitment to empowering students with forward-looking knowledge and connecting them with emerging trends in technology and innovation.
