HIMSI IN 2023

This year, our events will be as listed down below:

  • LDKA
    • LDKA stands for Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Aktivis. It is a training workshop for our newly admitted activists to deepen their knowledge and bond in HIMSI. This training starts as soon as the recruitment period is over; February 2023. This is also a recurring event; Meaning that our 2027 activists will receive training in February 2024.
  • BNDC 2023
    • BNDC or Binus National Debate Competition starts this year in the month of May. As the name suggest, this is a competition aiming to increase students critical thinking while maintaining fair competitions.
  • Latian Dasar Kepemimpinan Calon Pengurus (LDK CP)
    • This LDK is made for the newer activists as a requirement for them to be the next HIMSI coordinator. With this LDK we hope the newer activists will be ready to carry on HIMSI in the next period. This event starts in June 2023.
  • HIMSCON 2023
    • HIMSCON stands for HIMSI Convention. It is a series of webinars and workshops conducted by HIMSI with many young and interesting speakers this June!
  • MAKRAB
    • Makrab is one of our bonding activities where activists venture through their journey in this fun bonding camp. Work hard, play harder! This event will start on July 2023
  • Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM)
    • This year’s PKM or Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is titled T.E.A.C.H, which stands for Teaching English to Advance Children’s Horizon. HIMSI is collaborating with TFISC for this event. (August 2023)
  • Welcoming Party

    • As its name suggests, this special event is held to welcome the B2027 this September. Don’t forget to join HIMSI’s Welcoming Party to know more about us. Follow our social media for more information!

  • Culture Day
    • A fun-packed event filled with cultures uniques to one another; Our melting pot of cultures, especially for English, Japanese, and Chinese cultures! With HIMJA, HIMANDA, and HIMDI as our collaborator, this event will ensue with competitions, museum visits and many interesting things! Mark your calendar, this will occur on October 2023.
  • Club Sandwich 
    • An annual club gathering where B2027 are introduced to the existing clubs we offer! This event will be held on November 2023 and for more information about the clubs, please refer to our club tab in our website.
  • NEC
    • NEC stands for National English Competition, which is the prestigious English competition conducted by HIMSI. Just as last year, this year we are holding another NEC with a more unique field of competition for those who want to improve their English skills. Note that NEC will be back this winter (November until December 2023)
  • Benchmarking
    • This event is for us to learn more from other organization. The goal is to take what we learn from the organization and hopefully will be a good experience for us to be better in the future. This event will be held on January 2024.
