PoW: Mad and Insane by Anggita Khansa Paramitha
Mad and Insane
To dream and imagine every night
Was one of the best things in life
For every human, just like you and me
Although so, not all can correlate
With the fantastical worlds of the dreams & imagination
They can call us mad and insane
But little do they know we don’t think the same
We think- imagine of the possible and impossible
We express thoughts in an art of our own
Yet again still- they called us insane
Madness and Insane
For us, that was a new world of the intelligence
Creating a new form of art, and world from our illusion sense
Which for normal person, sadly they can’t relate
Cause their life is just a monotone and plain game

Poet’s Note: Hello, I’m Anggita Khansa Paramitha but people know me as Anggie or Gie.
This poem of mine “Mad and Insane” was inspired by my own experience in life, from which I really often tend to see and observe how most people around me, even for those who are quite close to me really like to say or see me as a weird person just because I like to think of random things, imagine and have an opinion that is sometimes out of their logical sense of thinking. And back then it really hurts myself because it made me think that “maybe” I just can’t fit in society.
But growing up I realize, it wasn’t weird to think of something people just tend to say from their side it’s “un-logical”, I realized sometimes our imaginations and illusion can sometimes become a great work of art, that even sometimes not even a single person would ever think of such an idea before. And I just really want to share that opinion as well for those who have the same feeling as I do before, that even sometimes weirdness can be a great piece of intelligence.
