  Throughout the years, a lot of earthquakes has been occurred all over the world. Earthquake is one of the deadliest disasters. They are unpredictable and can strike enough force to bring a building down. The lack of safety knowledge can lead to the loss of many lives. Here are 3 ways to get to safety when an earthquake occurs.

  The first way to get to safety. When indoors, take cover under a desk or table and hold on. The reason why you have to do this is to prevent the injuries from falling objects. Stay still until the shaking stops. If the shaking still occur, do not panic. Make sure the shaking stop and it is safe to exit.

  The next Way to get to safety. When outdoors, find a clear spot. Avoid places that are close to buildings, trees, and power lines. If the shaking becomes stronger, drop down to the ground. Until the shaking stops, stay in your position.

  The last way to get to safety. When in a car, slow down and drive to a clear place. Stay in the car until the earthquake stops. Turn on your radio and listen for instruction from the authorities. Once the shaking has stopped, avoid bridges or ramps that might have been damaged by the earthquake.
