BINUS ENGLISH CLUB CELEBRATES 33rd ANNIVERSARY THROUGH “ECHOES OF WISDOM”

BINUS English Club (BNEC) proudly commemorated its 33rd anniversary on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with an enchanting celebration themed “Echoes of Wisdom.” Held at BINUS Kemanggisan, Syahdan Campus, Room M2CD, the event ran from 13:00 to 16:30 WIB, with doors opening at 12:30 WIB. This year’s theme served as a heartfelt tribute to BNEC’s legacy, one marked by growth, refinement, and the timeless wisdom passed down through generations.

The theme “Echoes of Wisdom” symbolized the timeless knowledge and shared memories that continue to shape BNEC as an organization. Inspired by the amethyst, which is often associated with wisdom and spiritual clarity, the event adopted a refined palette of purples, silver, teal, and hints of turquoise. These colors cultivated an atmosphere of introspection and unity, reflecting the spirit of growth and reflection carried through generations. With a semi-formal dress code in light purple, dark purple, and white, all attendees embraced the visual harmony of the celebration, adding elegance and a shared sense of identity to the afternoon.

The celebration brought together a diverse group of attendees, including BNEC members from all regions, the Board of Management  (BoM), Steering Committee, Managing Committee, talents, alumni, BINUS representatives, and OK representatives. Guided warmly by masters of ceremonies Nathalie A. C. Gultom and Felicia F. Hidayat, the event flowed through a series of engaging and heartfelt segments. Attendees enjoyed lighthearted ice-breaking sessions, dynamic performances, inspiring speeches, and the symbolic Constellation of BNEC. A special cake-cutting moment became a highlight of the day, symbolizing unity and shared gratitude. To capture the spirit of the event, participants were invited to take part in an online disposable camera experience, adding a creative and memorable touch. Interactive games and door prizes kept the atmosphere lively, creating joyful memories that resonated with everyone present.

The event concluded with a heartfelt appreciation segment, honoring individuals who have made meaningful contributions throughout BNEC’s journey. As smiles, laughter, and applause filled the room, it became clear that the 33rd Anniversary was not just a celebration. It was a living reflection of BNEC’s enduring spirit, shared values, and the wisdom that continues to guide the organization forward.
