The New Member Recruitment Even 2025: The Extraordinary Quest: Riding the Trail to Greatness

The BINUS English Club (BNEC) is a student organization at BINUS University, established on June 11, 1992. It was founded to develop students’ potential by enhancing both their hard and soft skills. BNEC continuously supported students in improving their English proficiency through various enriching programs, recognizing it as an essential skill for overcoming challenges in the professional world.

The BNEC New Member Recruitment (NMR) Even 2025 was held to give a second chance to Binusian 2027 and 2028 the opportunity to become part of this organization. This recruitment is aimed at those who were previously rejected by their preferred organizations or those who have recently become interested in joining BNEC.

In NMR Even 2025, there were three recruitment categories: Member Recruitment, Active Member Recruitment, and Talent Recruitment. Member Recruitment was open to Binusians who were interested in improving and testing their English skills through TOEFL tests and classes provided by BNEC. Active Member Recruitment was for those who wanted to develop their soft and hard skills while gaining experience as committee members in both national and international events. Talent Recruitment was for Binusians who were eager to take on challenges and had a competitive spirit to represent BINUS and strive for excellence.

The series of events in NMR Even 2025 included the Booth Expo, Insight Session, and TOEFL Test. The Booth Expo was held in three regions—Kemanggisan, Alam Sutera, and Bekasi—from May 7 to 9, 2025. It aimed to guide prospective members, provide insights about BNEC recruitment, and increase exposure through merchandise giveaways. The Insight Session was conducted online via Zoom, allowing Binusians from all regions to learn more about BNEC through a trial class and an alumni sharing session. The TOEFL Test, organized in partnership with EnglishVit, assessed Binusians’ English proficiency and served as part of the recruitment process for becoming a BNEC member.

Alongside these events, promotions were carried out online through video reels, posters, and chat blasts, as well as through campus media such as TV Wall videos displayed across BINUS Kemanggisan and Alam Sutera campuses. Additionally, for those who missed the Booth Expo and Insight Session, a guidebook and Linktree containing comprehensive information were provided to help people learn more about BNEC.

Through the New Member Recruitment Even 2025, we aimed not only to gain more members but also to spark interest in English by helping participants enhance both their soft and hard skills within an organizational setting. We encourage them to take on challenges and confidently showcase their talents as proud BNEC representatives.
