EXTRAORDINARY TALENTS WON ENGLISH EVENT 2022!

English Event 2022 is an English competition held by Mercu Buana English Club. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, this event was held online using the Zoom Meeting and WhatsApp platforms to make it easier for participants to participate and receive information. This event takes place on May 21, 2022 – June 11, 2022 and has various competitions. Some of the competitions available are Storytelling, Speech, Debate, Spelling Bee, Scrabble, and also Newscasting.

This competition is a national scale event attended by 100 participants from various universities in Indonesia. Of course, one of the participating universities is BINUS University which is represented by talents from BNEC. In addition, BNEC’s talents certainly won the competition and brought pride to BINUS University and BNEC. One of the winners from Storytelling was Matthew Avrillio, who won the 3rd Winner of Storytelling Competition. This was achieved thanks to his persistence in training and his hard work during the race.
