The 2025 School English Olympics: A Journey of Nusantara Chronicles!
With deep regret, the BINUS English Club announced the cancellation of The 2025 School English Olympics, an event that had been set to ignite a blazing spirit under its vibrant theme, “Nusantara Chronicles: Spark The Universe.” Originally scheduled for November 24–27, 2025, the competition was envisioned as a celebration of creativity, cultural expression, and youthful excellence in English language mastery.
The School English Olympics has long been one of the club’s flagship programs, designed to bring together students from various schools in a series of academic and performance-based English competitions. This year’s theme aimed to highlight the richness of Indonesian heritage while inspiring participants to push boundaries, explore new perspectives, and shine on a wider stage.
Despite the strong concept and months of preparation, a number of internal and external challenges arose during the final planning phase, ultimately making it impossible to execute the event at the quality and scale intended. The organizing committee determined that proceeding under these circumstances would not do justice to the vision and spirit of the 2025 theme.
The BINUS English Club acknowledges the enthusiasm shown by prospective participants, partner schools, and supporters throughout the early promotional period. Although this year’s event will not move forward, the organization remains committed to fostering platforms that encourage English proficiency, creativity, and student engagement.
Further updates regarding future activities or potential reimagined versions of the program are expected to be shared through official BINUS English Club communication channels.
