The 2025 BNEC Company Visit “Find Your Spark, Leave Your Mark” Goes to UN Global Pulse Asia Pacific Hub
The BNEC Company Visit is an annual activity that is held and organized by the Member Focus and Company Relations divisions of BNEC. This event is programmed to help BINUSIAN gain practical, real-world experience beyond the theoretical knowledge gained in classroom lectures. Participants can gain insight to how a company operates, observe a variety of job roles, ask questions about the actual working industry, and ultimately to bridge the gap between academic learning and the professional world.
The most recent Company Visit took place on November 27th 2025 at United Nations Global Pulse Asia Pacific Hub. UN Global Pulse functions as the UN Secretary General’s Innovation Lab, integrating innovation and technology to achieve humanitarian objectives. During this event, they showcased a variety of projects they’ve accomplished in Indonesia, such as addressing sea level rise impacts, broadening digital inclusion for women and a decision support system to aid the free nutritious meals program. Participants gained valuable insight to these projects, as they were able to intimately discuss and network with the professionals in UN Global Pulse. Not just that, participants were able to take a glean into its history, partnerships and contributions on the global scale! Additionally, we had a special chance to do an office tour and a unique interactive Q&A session with sticky notes.
If you missed out on this event don’t worry! This is just one of many events that BNEC hosts, so keep an eye out for more if you’d like to participate in the future!
