Game Night – Free-to-Play Fridays

Free-to-Play Fridays is a monthly meet-up where BINARY members gather, hang out and play various games in the spirit of organizational solidarity and a chance at getting to know one another. We held our very first event on the 26th of March at 8 pm, gathering batches 2023 and 2024 students to play a few rounds of Jackbox games over Zoom. Our MC started the event with a warm welcome and ensured everyone was aware of the main rule; participants are to use their real names when assigning their nicknames during the games. We then proceeded to enter our designated breakout rooms which were randomized, and thus the game night truly commenced. Our first game was Push that Button, where ‘human’ roles were given the objective to find the ‘alien’ by going through a number of tasks. We debated and defended, ready to have a second go, with new strategies in mind. After finishing up with the main game, we decided to explore other games within the Jackbox pack to make the most out of the event. We wrapped up the event after a good two and a half hours and were glad to receive overwhelmingly positive feedbacks regarding the event. We honestly can’t wait to bring more games to the table for our upcoming

sessions.
