In that decade, most of people always find a job or to be civil servants after they graduated and got their bachelor. One of the reason is because being entrepreneur is too risky for them who feel not capable enough in business area or industry. So that the mindset of society in that decade is requirement to be entrepreneur who possessing business knowledge and degree is a must, and the others who are not possessed, will not interest to be entrepreneur.
Otherwise, definition of entrepreneur is a person who can see opportunity and combining them to create product idea or service that is in demand by the general public or government and always make adjustment to the changing business market and disruption.
In this internet and technology era, everything is become easier. Everything can be solved in simple and effective way through application technology on mobile phone, one of them is making business. By 2014 – 2015, after Go-Jek and Tokopedia have a great growth experience as newcomer Business Company and become greatest startup unicorn, a lot of new startup with new business model influenced and showing up to the public to try solving problem in society with application technology solution. Then, the whole world and society turn into disruption era. The era which everything can changing rapidly because of technology.
To conclude all about Entrepreneurship, Growth, and Competitiveness in Indonesia, millennial society are welcoming this era with great enthusiasm and good sportive competitiveness. It can be shown that until February 2018 and attached from Startup Ranking, Indonesia have 1706 Startup and all of them have their own uniqueness. From government side, improvement ecosystem of startup companies in Indonesia continue to be encouraged. On the other side, several startup activists continue to spread the virus, so that companies like this continue to emerge. In ratio summary, five in seven people of Indonesia, already engaged to embrace themselves to dive in startup ecosystem and make their own best business startup model.
